Looking to buy a tin of stinky fish but I don't know the name.
I know it is banned in several countries and not allowed on planes,
It comes (I think) from probably from Viking land or something like that.

Anyone know where I can buy it or what the real name is please.

PS

It's going to be a gift 🙂

Surströmming - Don't even try to eat it, it's beyond nasty. Good gift though, if you hate the person.

supposed to be healthy

It's great for weight loss - you're never hungry when a jar of those is the next thing you're going to eat.

Try bombay 'duck' if you think that's stinky, lovely though https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombay_duck

It's revolting.

Utterly revolting.

Best time to buy is when the top and bottom of the can has popped due to the pressure from the gasses given off during fermentation.

Tells you all you need to know about the taste.

Durian fruit are also available . They smell like a dog defecated on them, and a big dog at that. wiki
