It's about time we had an autobiography out of this reclusive millionaire. I mean what a lazy arse! he's not bothered with anything 'Queen' after Freddie died, which I respect him for because Queen was 4 people, so what does he do all day? Some of Queen's best songs were penned by Deacon. I also love the fact (on Wikipedia at least) that he smashed his Fender Presicion Bass at the end of the Freddie Tribute concert.
So come on John, let's have a book please detailing your start in Queen and all the excesses of the band in the 70s & 80s, thanks.

alanl, can you get a message to him via his cousin suggesting he writes an autobiography, he could give the profits to charity, I'm sure he doesn't need the money.
As said above, he just packed it in. I always got the impression that he liked the music but not the 'other stuff' which it would be mostly these days.
I used to do his car insurance a few years ago, he was still in the uk, driving something un-assuming. I remember on a mini bio of him from the greatest hits video it listed his favourite drink as tea. Sums it up really.
