Hello all, seems you didn't scare me off after my first forum post. Enjoyed getting to know a few of you, so I'm back! (For context and those who have no idea what I'm on about, I dropped in to say hello when I started with STW).
Just dropping by again to pick your brains and see what I can do (within reason) there's loads of great content for members and in the mag, but I just wanted to see if there's anything you'd like to see more of?
Also, we are hoping to do a charity round-up post, so if you're doing some bonkers ride, or something for a good cause, please feel free to send it my way. This works with other news too, building trails, starting something new, whatever it is, feel free to drop me a message.

I know it's not news per se, but I miss The Grinder section of the mag; experiences of normal(ish) kit ridden in real world situations for a while, to see how it actually fairs. More useful (to me) than superbike showdowns.

AXS and carbon Santa Cruz's (Cruzi?) are nice and all, but despite the heyday of SS being a way back now I'd still bet there are more Stooge Dirtbombs in the forum and even plain hardtails the On-One Scandal had a massive thread, but nothing in the mag. Compared to all the carbon exotica.

+1 again, something that's sadly missing from other mags. And for better or worse I just dont associate ST with enduro or DH.

A series of interviews with pro riders about how they overcame and came back from injury would be super interesting.
Whenever I'm injured and faced with "I'll never ride a bike again" syndrome, I'll often look to see if a pro has had a similar injury in the past and take solace in the fact that they've come back from it.

Love this idea apart from the maps bit. Getting lost is part of the fun!

Would this be a good time to mention the Big Bike Bash that is now run by a charity and raises £25,000 per year for UK Youth but started as the Singletrack Southern Festival in my back garden?
I am sure you can get at least one article out of it and depending on who steps forward to contribute I could probably get several convictions and exclusion orders 🙂
