Will/oggles, cat empire contribute the final track on 'seasons' and its brilliant!

I'm currently listening to the Black Angels, the Black Lips and Black Mountain. Its part co-incidence that they all share similar names, but also that they all play vaguely similar music! (Black Angels: Passover is one of the best albums i've bought in a long time, heavy droney rock music with big fat drums and a great psycadelic ambience, some good singing too if you ignore the run-of-the-mill vietnam/iraq lyrics)

Ringing ears and deafness (worse in one ear) after a night out. Years since I've had this, hate it. My poor ears.

Now listening to a bit of Fordlandia by Jóhann Jóhannsson. Not quite as good as IBM 1401 but very good all the same.

Got back from the pub a little while ago and finished off a kebab, while listening to the Lost Brothers on Bob Harris. Not bad. Some interesting things on here; Baskery I've got on a list of albums to get following a review in Word, Cat Empire I've never heard of but will check them out now. Earlier on I was listening to a double best-of The Bangles, which is very good, love that band, saw them last year in Bristol and they rocked! Also listened to the new album from Sunnydaysetsfire, Our Palace, which is just fantastic, beautiful layered soaring music that just for a while late you believe that there are no troubles in the world. Wonderful stuff.
