Crashed at Dalbeattie Sunday and turns out I have dislocated my shoulder and gained a mild concussion.

So, apart from shopping for a new helmet, what can I do to fill the time usually taken by bikes or working on my van? In a sling for 2 weeks, no bikes, then 4 weeks of taking it easy and doing exercises. So 2 weekends and a few evenings need filled, netflix can help with some but I want ideas please! Also can't drive for the 2 weeks.

You could donate your free time to help out a worthwhile cause.

Video games and box sets did the trick for me when I broke my knee. Did a lot of reading too.

Plus taking a shower took about three hours so that filled up time nicely.

spend the week in the sling ordering second hand bike parts from the classifieds.

As soon as you can turn a spanner start building up your comedy cheap new HT!

I built a 456 with Reba teams for <200 quid when I knackered my shoulder

I did a Rosetta Stone language course when I was laid up with a broken ankle, but I couldn't work or walk for 10 weeks!

It's worse in the summer the days are so bleeding long.
Reading, especially bubblegum like crime fiction.
General internet browsing.
Catching up with friends, if anyone is about. Or Meetup groups.
Doing some research for future plans, like holidays, new home, or new bike.
I'd normally do some boozing but you don't want to fall over I guess!

Learn CAD and come up with a million different interior ides for your van?

Other than that, I'd say go with Airfix*.

* other brands available.
