Am off to philadelphia for work and added 3 days of holidays. What are the best things to do there? Am not all too interested in American history, I'm afraid.. So far, I want to do the Mural walk and visit the art museum (including running up the steps.. 😉 )
Any tips welcome...

If your not into history, and there is a lot there (Liberty bell etc), hang out on South Street between 2nd and 8th Avenue, thats where all the bars used to be when I was last there...... but that was while back.

IIRC you need to "chill it out, maxing, relaxing all cool and then shoot some, b-ball outside a school"

Everything else you need is here: [url=

124 Bus from Market and 13th to the King of Prussia Mall (largest shopping mall in the US)
Is baseball still on?
Ben Franklin museum?

And if you do nothing else, try and go to the Barnes

For fun, R6 train to Ardmore and go to Milkboy coffee shop - looks like there is now one downtown too. But Ardmore's is the original.

Want any more, just drop me a line. I go several times a year for work

EDIT and whatever you do, DON'T eat a Philly cheesesteak

The film Rocky was based in Philly right?

Only one thing to do then....

Find those steps and run up them.

Preferably with small children following behind you

Go see where the declaration of independence was signed, and see the liberty bell. Cheesesteaks are awesome. There's an indoor market that does great sandwiches too. And a trip to the baseball is ace!

I worked there for a month as a med student - pics here
