We will be in touch
Hi,
I'm about to begin building my new 29er rigid single speed XC bike having spent nearly 6 months gathering parts for it. My question is what size rotors should I run ?
I have a set of Avid Elixir R's and a choice of 160/160mm rotors or 185/160. I was thinking of running the 185 front/160 rear combo but having never done this before I don't know what's best for the type of riding I'm doing, which is mainly flat XC racing around Thetford forest in Norfolk. Will the 185mm be overkill for what I need?
Any tips/advice would be appreciated.
Luke.
160/160 will do fine
as above
160 is even overkill for most XC riding in the UK.
Thanks for the replies. I run 160/160 on my 26" race bike so perhaps I'll stick with that after all.
