The newest Neal Stephenson, the sequel to The Quantum Thief, or something else? I thought Anthem was amazing, but his other books look as if they might have dated a little based on their subject matter?

Don't think his books have aged, I reread The Diamond Age recently and it was great. The Baroque Cycle and Cryptonomicon are excellent, too.

The problem with earlier cyberpunk stuff for me is that sometimes the author's vision does not match how things have panned out, which jarrs for me, being an IT geek.
