I need a loud both ring and speaker mob phone and it would help if it was nearly bulletproof and waterproof for site work .
dont want camera or mp3 / internet I just want a phone / text
Or is this not doable

Landrover have just launched a phone that will do that and there is also the JCB phone which meets your requirements. Not sure if the JCB phone is still around but it met the bombproof/waterproof/loudness requirements and didn't come with a camera (not sure if the Landrover phone has a camera either).
Both made by a 3rd party company but I forget it's name...
I think Ive got a b2700. Havent broken it yet and I BREAK phones!
The JCB was the Sonim XP1, Super loud and water resistant. They have just released the XP-3, no idea where you can get one.

A quick google suggests that the XP-3 is the landrover phone or the other way round.

M8 bust his JCB phone in 2 weeks, then took it back to the shop for the assistant to tell him theyre were getting loads of returns... he didn't replace it (with another jcb one that is).

£40 one of the best "Phones" I've had without all the other crap, can also get nearly 2 weeks standby out of it.
Ive got a solid. Its a pain to use so slow and counter intuitive. I could really do with Nokia or Sony making a tough phone that is actually nice to use.
