Going to need more than that. What are you using it for? Internet / games / what?

Generic advice; go for a brand rather than a generic thing; HP/Compaq / Toshiba / IBM etc.

for a so called "friend" who has started up his own business doing embroidery - printing - vehicle livery - design, running coreldraw x3 for designing & embroidery software + internet.

Also specialises in being an arse.

Corel Draw X3 minimum system requirements:

Windows 2000, Windows XP (Home, Professional, Media Edition, 64-bit or Tablet PC Edition), Microsoft Vista, or Windows Server 2003 with latest Service Pack
Pentium III, 600 MHz or greater
256 MB RAM
Mouse or tablet
1024 x 768 screen resolution (768 x 1024 on a Tablet PC)
CD-ROM drive
200 MB hard disk space (CorelDRAW only; more space will be required for other suite applications)
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or higher

So pretty much any old box really. A few £££'s on a decent monitor would be nice.

So why are you bothering to make the effort for him then? Let him find one himself.

Or, or, if you wanna be awkward...

...Apple Mac! 😉
