anyone use a bike carrier on a high vehicle?
Need to fit one to my berlingo, can either go cheap option of roof carrier or more £££ for getting a towbar fitted and towball carrier.
Anyone using a roof one, is it a complete pain on a high vehicle? Id have to use a step i think to get bikes on.
Only concern about a towbar one is i dont know if i'll be able to open the tailgate due to its size, even with a thule tilting one. Althought the Atera Strada carrier slides and tilts so may be possible with this one.

Seriously couldn't imagine putting them on the roof of mine (I am a shortarse though).
There are roof mounted ones that slide out now...made by Thule I think. But they are £££. 😐
