(Gulp)It seems I caused a bit of a shitstorm the weekend.
I must apologise to all of the innocent forumites who witnessed my rush of blood. I wish that I had been up all night drinking, alas I'm just not that good of a drinker.
I enjoyed having a thread all about me as I'm not generally the centre of attention and was particularly amused by the irony of being called a c0ck by anage....Flowerman and the bum kissing of the mods by someone else. I didn't read the whole thing as I was out riding my bicycle. I received a 2 day ban, and rightly so. I cannot say that I have an excuse for the insult only, having served and knowing that what seen is not a fraction of what the men of WW2 did (on both sides), I get a bit antsy about someone urinating on a war memorial, but I only posted a picture FFS.
I do like this forum and in particular the more intelligent posters who cause me to question my own views and broaden my horizons (ernie, fred, stoner, CFH and on occasion TJ!). I recently found myself explaining to a bonehead why the welfare system must exist recently!
Anyhoo, I shall be attempting to be more cheery from now on.
