Our second child was born yesterday, weighing in a whopping 9lb 14oz. She decided to come out face upwards - they called her a stargazing baby. Midwives couldn't work out why she was so difficult to pop out but as they saw her face it all made sense. I actually saw it all too. Amazing.
So, a day old here's her first trip in the car.
Oh and why are kiddy pods so darn big? Even in our x-trail I need to put the seats right forward. Does anyone know of and smaller baby pods on the market?

Nope car seats stay in the car. Baby pods clip off a base thats secured in the car and then clips onto the pushchair.
edit: names might be slightly different. I was going to call the push chair the stroller (live in Oz now and they can't talk proper like what we does!)
