Can anyone recommend me a durable, reliable and water resistant set of non licensed walkie talkies for up to £100? No bells and whistles, just need to be able to talk to each other on our site here.

Cheers!
TS

I bought some Oregan Scientific ones a while ago which were well under £100 and worked rather well.

mate of mine brought 4 on a skiing trip - worked great

he got 'em from costco for "very little" but I doubt they're massively durable

(I have 2from aldi somewhere - haven't seem em for ages)

For less than a ton. onto ebat and pick up a refurbished Motorola XTN446.
Mine is now 6 years old, used for at least 3 days a week.

I got a set of binatone terrain 550 walkie talkies from Costco recently. Cost about £40 + vat and have a range of around half a mile in urban built up areas. Much more in open ground. they come in their own case, complete with mains and car chargers. Well impressed for the money.
