Lockdown means our house needs so much more vacuuming than usual.
We have a cordless Shark, which is amazing, but it's just not powerful enough for a once a week proper clean, as the dogs fur just gets deeply into the carpets.
We've got a very powerful corded Vax that's years old, but it's so heavy and hard to pull around.
I was thinking of getting a corded Shark to use once a week, and use the cordless every couple of days to keep on top of things.
Has anyone got very furry dogs and many carpets, that's found a decent vacuum that is powerful, but not a pig to lug around?
You need an upright with a beater brush - Sebo X series - light - proven - spares available for years and thats it.
Shark corded lift away + cocker spaniel and 2 cats. Does the job. Had Dyson and Vax before, neither lasted.

We have to vacuum probably twice a day with 5 hairy cats (4 of which are long haired). Vax steerable lift, although my wife want's a Shark with the 'hair cutters' as cotton and long person hair get's stuck in the brush bar (except it's me that cleans it).
