I want to find out about using Paypal to take membership fees for our trail building group (Chase Trails) Anyone done anything like this?

Can I just set up a personal account using my email address and link it to our group bank account or should I treat it as a business account.

I'm not concerned about integrating paypal buttons into our website, it would be fine to just give out our email address for people to pay into.

Ta.

I'd just set up a separate email and paypal personal account. I wouldn't bother with a business one, you won't be handling that many transactions. Plus you might get away with people using paypals gift function, thereby circumventing any fees. Check the gift limits.

I would use personal account. We use normal transactions for the Big Bike Bash which means we get the buttons on the web site but pay the commission. Just gifted £700 for some beer without charge.

Cheers
