I cancelled my SKY contract 6 months ago by phone and they have continued to take money i have only just noticed , i called and they are refusing to give money back saying i never cancelled.what can i do ?
Don't they record all calls?
Have you still been receiving service? if yes you probably thought you were getting away with it but now the worm has turned, bit duff on sky's part but surely you noticed before now you were still getting service?
what does the contract say about cancelling? write a letter?
I left the property have left the country and the box has been inactive for 6 months ,my bad for not checking stamens s but i wa sin Thailand for 4 months then my fathers passing and a new job have kept me busy, i reckon it will be a long running dispute .
Don't stop trying to get it back, eventually they'll cave.
Is it taken via Direct Debit? Talk to your bank, they may be able to charge it back if Sky are refusing.
That's what happened to me when Tiscali were being incompetent arses and refusing to refund me.
Up date - on sky , after emails back and forth they have refunded my money .6 months payments. I have invested the refund wisely , a set of Fat bar carbon bars, crank brothers skewers and a 80mm cobalt stem , (the only part of the "old " bike thats left are the forks ).
