I need to get 2 new rear tyres for my Mondeo it has just done over 23k miles. The fronts should be good for another couple of thousand yet but we will see. It is a company car so not particuarly bothered but would have expected more out of them than that. Having googled it it seems quite lucky to get more than 20k miles out of a Mondeo. Anyone else got a Mondeo and get decent mileage out of the tyres?

consider yourself lucky you are getting that much out of them I have an Audi A4 Avant and it needs new tyres on the front every 10,000 I could drive smoother etc to prolong their life but it's a company car so it gets used like a van.

new tyres every 10,000??? You mean you change them more than once a year?

Try riding a reasonably powerful motorbike. Depending upon the tyres, I have had between 3000 and 9000 miles from a pair. And I do 20k miles a year on it. 😀

The back tyre on my KTM Duke 690 lasted just over 1000 miles, and was £140 to replace 😯
