Having issues with the "official" Twitter app since upgrading it a week or so ago.
Any recommendations for other - ideally very cheap or free - apps that will do a similar job?

Tweetbot is rather good, don't think that it's free though.

I use Twitter a lot in my job (eight accounts and climbing) and Tweetbot is by far the best Twitter app for the iPhone. The translate feature is worth the money alone.

On a sidenote, Twitter seem to be unloading whole magazines of bullets into their feet recently.

Does Tweetbot bring up a notification the same as an SMS/email?
