Tried to stealthily get down the stairs in the dark without waking kids a couple of mornings ago, slipped on something and ended up at bottom of stairs, leg in strange position, knee in massive pain.
Couple of days on, walking is still a bit of a challenge, riding seems a long way off.
Any of you twisted your knee up?
I'm hoping the little clicks that have started go away.

Ice, rest, elevation for any knee injuries. And whilst doing so, maybe search for the various knee injury threads here...not saying you have torn something, but you'll realise it is easy to do with an awkward fall. (Just speaking from experience, not a medic).

Try and get any swelling down and it is doesn't improve, go to the doctors.

If it's just a twisted knee, it will heal fairly quickly and you will be back on the bike soon. But if you've damaged something like the ligaments...
See how it goes.
