planning a 4 day trip from Conwy to Swansea based on the 'what mountain bike' trip of Nov 09 ....... has anyone tried it?
i'm looking for trail details but can't seem to get far on the net ..... anything out there?

Apart from buying a number of maps which to be honest you'll need anyway, your best bet would be to get a copy of the Sarn Helen route guide www.mbruk.co.uk by Tim Woodcock
It's 270 miles, some of which is pretty hard going, 4 days will be quite a ride. The guide suggests 8 days ranging from 4.5 - 7 hours, so expect some big days if you're looking to half it.

around 68 miles per day ...... hhhmmmmm. I suppose it depends on the terrain. We've done a few marathons, one being 85 miles off road but these will be back to back. Still, great challenge though!!
