I am going to give the idiet a go from this weekend, cleared my cupboards out of pasta, rice ect last night.

For the long easter weekend and the week after, as long as the weather holds out, I will probably be going touring or for a few bikepacking trips.

Looking for suggestions for suitable lightweight and easily preparable food to take along.

Chorizo.

Can't you take advantage of post exericse carbs - like cous cous?

I don't like uncooked chorizo 😥

Rather than post exercise carbs, its a case of a steady all day effort, which the idiets low gi and lack of insulin spikes should be perfect for.

But its quite hard to actually make a chorizo and onion omelet in a little ti cup over a pocket rocket.

Bean stews? I can't remember the name but you can get packets of mixed beans that come in a sauce? Heat in about 5 mins.
