I've got a keyboard, mouse and speaker all connected by BT to my mac mini.
Occasionally the mouse becomes quite laggy if music is being played through the speaker.
Is there anything I can do - manually select channels etc. to try and improve things?

Bluetooth mice are notoriously pish. Throw it in the bin and get one that isn't BT. The Logitech ones with the 'nano' USB receiver are good.

But I love my BT mouse and it was fine before I added the BT speaker - I suspect I know what the answer here is 👿

Cougar seconded.

Never seen the appeal of a bluetooth mouse or keyboard at a desk, apart from some slight aesthetics. As someone who sits at a PC all day I always used wired stuff.

But yeah, you probably have too much stuff. Streaming audio on bluetooth will eat a fair bit of the available bandwidth. If you can manually select channels (and I'm not sure if you can) that might help (or make it worse) but ultimately they will still all be fighting for access to the same RF chip so there is still a bottleneck.

"Pick one."

Keyboard not so much cos they rarely move, but tailed mice irritate the proverbial out of me. YMMV.
