not a politician, so I left off the the exclamation marks.

World Trials Champion for a SEVENTEENTH consecutive year.  Absolutely mindblowing.   There will be hundreds of teenage trials riders, top level guys and girls around the world who have been conceived, born, learned to crawl, walk, balance bike, twist a throttle, learn the basics, start competing, progress, progress, progress, work through the ranks and age groups...  and Toni Bou has been World Champion the whole time.

Seventeen!  Amazing..... The last time I saw Toni riding was in the streets of Cahors in the Trial Urbain International de Cahors.

Quite unbelievable that he has been leading the way for so long.
Still amazing to see the different ways he can make stuff look so easy when everyone else is struggling.

Moto trials is one of the most beautiful sports imo, and Bou is an artist. Only seen him ride once in person and it was just mindboggling- just doing the impossible and making it look effortless.

Looking at that compilation clip above, you do wonder if you stuck him on a suitable enduro bike, he’d be a dab hand at hard enduro. Graham Jarvis and Billy Bolt I think are both ex trials riders and they ride some steep nadgery terrain in that sport.

Yes, it really is, been a few times. The sections are built in the streets.... rocks, logs etc plus the odd section on barge type boats in the River Lot.

Back a few years we spent some time with Dougie Lampkin and his dad Martin...   Plus Alexz Wigg who we knew well from his schoolboy riding days.  All great company and very nice and friendly.

Apart from the UK contingent driving overnight to get there loads of the top Spanish guys come over.the border.
