Does this look OK? Bloody part stings a bit, but the brown part doesn't hurt, even when I poke it with something sharp. The white part hurts a bit if I poke it with something sharp.

I think you might have posted a picture of your knob in error.

Will it go away if I ignore it, or should I keep poking it with sharp things?

Once established, fungal nail infections are quite hard to shift.

Mods: can this have a warning on the Thread title please?

Stop poking it with sharp things Go to a chemist and get some anti -fungal cream. If it doesn't get any better, ring 111 and get some advice.

Dont ring 111. Wire brush and Dettol should sort it out.

In all seriousness it's really hard to get rid of and in rare cases can cause other complications. My doctor sent off a bit for a biopsy when I first got it.

On the subject of feet, there is a bloke in our office who has feet like the hulk. Horrible things and hes always insists on whatsapping them to the lads. What do you lot think?
