Lovely skies this evening…

The moon, Jupiter and Venus…

Lens is 200-600. 200-400 for anything moving, 400-600 for portraits
Dakuan maybe you could share some of your failed photos to make us all feel better.
You know, lens cap on, thumb over, wildly out of focus etc
If I’m in a good location I’ll take 5-10k photos in a session! Only 50-100 will be kept!!!

“Ok someone, go and make a complaint, there’s barely enough water to paddle in!”

“Right, pool’s full, go and get the kids!”
Photo posting on the blink again! “File too big”, it’s not.
Had a bit of a thunderstorm tonight, although most of it passed to the south, and trying to get photos was tricky, the best flashes just overwhelmed the sensor on a 10 second exposure, but I got several.

No lightning, but terrific clouds lit by the lightning.

A lot of hail, but at least it didn’t set off my car alarm like it did on Thursday evening!
Hmm. Disallowed? That should be in "Tonights photo" thread?

Nice to see the goldfinches happily sharing the sunflower hearts with the sparrows! This year’s the first time in seven or eight years that sparrows have been visiting my garden, which is great to see.

Getting the hang of this shooting arrows lark! That’s at 40 yds. Next is 50, where the target in the background is. Gets progressively more difficult! Unsurprisingly. 🤪
