Things that make you happy - being thanked for doing something that you hadn't realised was being watched.
I was enjoying chatting to people at the market, while (not) selling my art, when a girl of around 10-12 years old asked how I did a particular painting. I explained that it was a chain drag where you dip a length of chain, like the ones that hold the sink plugs onto the sink, in paint and then pull it across the canvas to create a flower. She was struggling a bit to visualise this so I used a bit of string over the painting to show how it worked. Once she understood that, she was pleased, said thanks and walked off. I was happy, she was happy.
The adult who was with her, possibly her grand father, walked over to me and thanked me for taking the time to explain. He then pushed a coin, a one pound coin I assumed, into my hand and walked off to catch up with the girl. A nice touch I thought.
I have just had a proper look at the coin and realised it is actually a UK Government issued gaming token from 1797!

Hmm disappointed the chain drag isn't a little more dangerous.
Have you tried it with a chainsaw chain? Possibly attached to the chainsaw? Potential running?
