Or genius, I can’t decide. Think I’d give all three a whirl.

I remember going as kid (11 years old) and remember a lot of them dipping buttered bread in a glass of milk for breakfast.

Are you sure you're not thinking of hedgehogs, rather than Americans?

Salted Caramel Brownie Sundae with Bacon, I thought the Jaffa cake couldn't be beaten but I have been proved wrong on the same day.

Everything’s a treat when you cover it with meat.

That is a doughnut with bacon and a maple syrup icing.

I have had them a few times when I've been in the states, and they taste delicious!

Have you watched Man vs Food?

Seems to me to be a fairly interesting food show that's dressed up by the producers as this hardcore gluttony competition. I suspect it's an attempt to pull male tv viewers into food shows. I think it tells you more about cultural attitudes towards gender than it does food.

The French have missed a trick.

Now imagine that above picture, but as an eclair with a bacon and maple fourrage!

Or how about a mille feuilles with bacon layers?

My mother is American. Her culinary delicacies include:

Putting salt on fruit.
Having cheese with apple pie.
Taking a boiled egg, putting it in a mug with croutins, and mixing it all up together.
Banana and peanut butter sandwiches.
