You could what I ended up doing a few weeks ago. Went up loose hill(?)with the little 'un. So carried his bike up.
Visit the sweet shop? The museum is good for little bit.
Museum surprisingly interesting. Speedwell Cavern.
Various tea rooms.
Decent looking chippy.
Pop down the road to 18 Bikes. Obviously.
Potter up the broken road, then up the side of the landslip face of Mam Tor, back along the Great Ridge then drop down one of the paths into the back of Castleton as the sun sets, then sit back with a pint in one of Csstleton's myriad pubs?
