lol! Haven't seen that for a while.
Listening to The Suburbs right now, from my Mac Mini, at 320Kb over an optical link to my Yamaha a/v amp, speakers are a set of Sony Pascal 5.1 speakers. Not as bad sounding as I was expecting, but then I've had the album since it came out and I hadn't noticed any real significant quality issues. I'll give it a listen on my iPod through my Shure SE215's over the weekend, and do a comparison with Funeral and Neon Bible.
Much of what I listen to tends to be folk/Americana, and indie stuff, and most folk type music tends to be 'cleaner' production with a wide dynamic range anyway. Elbow have been awarded for their album mastering, because of the dynamic range.
