Well, that was/is rather disappointing.

Is it still science when it's dumbed down that far? It sure as hell isn't entertainment.

We gave it ten minutes.

A rather ill-conceived venture.

Someone somewhere in the BBC thought it a good idea. Off to bed now.

TV science has got shockingly bad.

Give it a wide berth these days.

Currently listening to Tindersticks and reading Martin Rees Just Six Numbers. Astrophysics for the chainsaw wrangler.

Oh! Was set to record before going away - one to delete then.

I told the inlaws that it looked good and suggested we watch it. We switched off after 5 minutes and I expect I have plummeted in their estimations...

IIRC, Cox is on some sort of x-programmes contract with the Beeb, so this may just benough making up the numbers.

Had it recorded, might give it a miss now!

Written by Monty Python star Eric Idle

Hmmm.

If they wanted to do a 'mashup' thing like this, I would have just chucked money at the Horrible Histories lot.

I'm not sure how anyone would think science via interpretive dance and music would be either interesting or entertaining. I'm glad I deliberately stayed away from it.

A bit awkward throughout, like a low budget local panto, but it does create interest for those who'd never watch a science programme otherwise which is a good thing.

It's still better than back to back countdown to the top 100 whatever bollox shows.

Embarrassing. Lasted 10 minutes tops.
