About to use this stuff, anyone used similar?

On the application instructions part 1 it says erect tent and wet, am I right in thinking I need to lightly hose the tent down first?

TIA

Had a bit of leakage during YNot!?

Ours ended up on the tip pile. 🙂

No muffin thankfully we invested well about 5 years ago, tho I'm always a bit dubious about taking that tent to ynot but I thought she deserved a spruce up as not a single leak. Did split a carbon pole though which I salvaged with good old gaffer tape. Weather was wild but we stuck it out.

Did you enjoy the festival. We've all got the festival blues as we had such a blast!

Thought it was excellent - a world apart from last year. You'd have to exceptionally picky to find fault with it this time. Even getting in was easy, we thought we'd be queuing down to the Holly Bush at least but drove straight in.

We stuck it out too - even with puddles in the tent! A thoroughly enjoyed guessing which tent was going to go flying on Sunday morning!

Our tent was a 14yr old Outwell and owed us nothing - so the YNot rubbish pile was a fitting resting place!

I erect mine, sponge down with pure soap and water. Rinse off then spray on the nikwax, wipe off excess and let dry.

Done before recent trip and made a huge difference to the tent.not that it leaked before but fly not wetting out any more

Nice one muffin. It was a really good vibe this year, think it was our 6th time there. We always say we must try somewhere else next year but get drawn back. Done bearded theory for the last two years and that's proper chilled, well worth a look too.

We have considered Bearded Theory but thought it may be too relaxed. I do like a bit of action in a crowd - nodding appreciably in rhythm can be rather dull after a while! 🙂

I may have the wrong impression of it though.

Youtube the dance tent. It's as far from relaxed as could possibly get 😂.

I get freebies so that's why we go, the line up has never really been my thing so wouldn't have paid to go but always enjoyed once I got there. The best thing is the relaxed vibe, take your own beers in the arena etc almost police's it self. There is always a very strong smell of exotic cigarettes too 🤣

Our awning let rain in badly whilst away last week, so I set to with a Tim of Fabsil Gold & a 3” brush. Worked brilliantly.
