We're thinking of getting our twins an iPod touch each for their birthday (instead of a party) - possibly used.
They'd really want to be able to do FaceTime, so which model would we need to get?
Any pros and cons for each model?
I think you need a 4th gen to get FaceTime function
Our twins have them and love them. They have the 8gb models but use them for games as much as anything and don't need masses of storage for music or video. as above I think the face time requires 4th gen.
They are small ipads.
They're great; my kids saved up for them and they're good for storybooks and games etc.
Also I use one as I'm still stuck to a phone contract that has an Android phone attached to it; since everything is mac in my household, the Touch is the best way of keeping contacts and calendar functions synced.
Whichever one has the front-facing camera. Simples.
