Anyone had it done? how long does it take,i know its pricey, but is it painful (in comparison to having a tattoo )? want something removed enough so i can finish my sleeve over the top it, seen write ups, but never actually spoken to someone who has had it done.
saw this on the news recently: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/8003206.stm
Mrs notlocal had a small tattoo removed and said it didn't hurt. A small amount of tingling which she took paracetemol for. How large is your tat? Hers was approx 1.5 inches high, so quite small. She paid £90 per treatment, 3 treatments required. Fairly expensive, but she's happy to be rid of a stupid adolescent mistake.
mine is black Celtic writing, 5" x 1", so could be expensive.....

Read the FAQ's, its states darker tattoo's are easier to remove than lighter ones!
Not sure if the size is an issue, or whether you just pay per session. Mrs notlocal noticed a difference after her first session. Mind, her tootat was a rose and not very big. It was outlined in green though which is harder to get rid of apparently. Good luck whatever you decide.
i spent months looking for a decent laser clinic.finally found NEWLIFE LASER CLINIC in Walsall 01922 721444. the staff are very well trained professional nursing staff. the clinic is part of a medical centre. i had 2 removed a black and shading one and a heavy outline wrap around full forearm size in black .it was the the most painful thing a have ever had , far greater than any of the tattoos i've had . even the ones across my chest. £95.00 per session and about 6-8 weeks between each treatment , the longer the better to stop scaring. 9 treatments for mine . as said already green is the worst , they have 2 types of laser to get rid of green. use plenty of moisturiser before and after again for scarring .
