We will be in touch
Well post after post and finally here, I have an operation on Saturday to remove some herniated discs in my neck, going to be a busy last day at work tomorrow and friday to try and relax..... but I have one of the best surgeons in the Uk so its not all bad, should be out of action for around 2 months...
sadly I have found out today I also have a pretty big curvature in my lower spine and more potentially nackered discs so looks like more surgery at a later date. Well one step at a time, get the neck sorted and then the lower back, time to give the bike one last polish before the big off.... not even ridden it yet 🙁
Good luck
good luck - I hope all goes well.
Best of luck
From the post title I thought you were going fox hunting!
Either way, good luck.
Good luck, you'll be fine! A friend had it done a few years back, quite terrifying thinking about how they actually did it as they went in from the front of the neck, but it was very elegantly done, and she made a pretty quick recovery.
Ditto on the good luck
yes im not too excited about going through the front of my neck, but if it works 🙂 im having an artificial disc (perhaps 2) but they wont know until they are in there. Just hoping hospital food is better than last time 😉 worst part is there is no Wifi access 🙁 🙂
Good luck.
Best of British and all that 🙂
Bloody hell good luck indeed - keep us posted 😀
Well im out of hospital and doing ok, ended up in for 3 days which was quick for my proceedure, was not allowed to stand for 2 days, managing to walk for 10 mins max now otherwise I end up dizzy, very sore and then sleep for a good 3 hours, No energy at all. But the op went well and I have an artificial titanium disc in my spine. cant drive for around 4 weeks and around 6 weeks till I can go back to work assuming all goes well. Hopefully the scar will tone down, looks like ive had a run in with Jigsaw!!
glad to hear it went well, the scar looks, well scary,
Fingers crossed your recovery goes to plan ,,i know what it's like to have medical peeps keeping you off the bike!
G
Good scar 🙂
