Unfortunately we had to make a couple of employees redundant in January however, during routine maintenance of work one of them was heavily involved with, we have found that much of the work that was meant to have been completed months and months ago (but not launched) was missing, incomplete or simply (in the words of the freelancer looking at it now 'nonsense').

Until now we have taken this on the chin and have covered the costs of putting things right but I am now beginning to feel a bit aggrieved because there seems to be a large portion of work that this person was meant to have done (whilst employed and not working his notice as this goes back over 24 months on a project they were involved with) that is simply not good enough.

I would hate to do anything drastic but I am now having to consider my options - I am beginning to worry that we are yet to find the 'biggie' that really hits us hard in the nuts.

Any helpful advice gratefully received.
