This popped up in my FB feed today and it makes interesting reading from trail use, possible accidents and a Swiss perspective. We probably all carry a GPS and track our rides but where there is access or conflict, or even accidents, this gives an insight about data and device use in Switzerland. A little like Dashcam use for drivers....
Article should automagically translate.

Yep I've often wondered if Stravas could be used in a prosecution
Switzeland has a deeply engrained culture of consideration for other trail users in mixed use trails. This is clear in videos of Nino Schurter riding in Switzerland. The legal framework is clearly different in Switzerland.
However, whatever the law, if you ride so fast round a blind corner, on a shared use path, that you kill some one then you deserve to be prosecuted.
I regard my own personal tracking as protection for me. As it’s clear i do slow down for other trail users
That article could have been written in half the number of words.
But didn't they use Strava for prosecution of that unfortunate incident in Richmond or regents park?
