HI all,

Off to the above (Garda and Como) end of June for a couple of weeks in the motorhome. As you lot are all so well travelled I was wondering if you could give me any tips about "must stay" camp sites in the area ? Taking gravel bikes rather than MTB.

Get an ACSI Camping Card, some sites will be available at the reduced rate at that time of year

Might want avoid the 11th- 15th July as the Moon and Stars festival is on in Ticino. All camping around the area will be full.

Thanks they look great. Did you need to take an adaptor for your hook up cable or will the UK standard one work over there ?

The Italian one was the same as the UK as have been all the Italian ones we have stayed on.

We have various adaptors in the van that we have collected over the years but the Swiss ones are different,

Both sites loan them out with a refundable deposit so wasn't a problem
