We're currently in the process of buying a house 'oop north. Can anyone recommend a surveyor in the SW end of Sheffield?

I'm a building surveyor but on the wrong side of the Pennines for you (and I don't do residential!). I've got a mate who works for Smiths in Barnsley, give them a try.
Failing that, go on rics.org and use the 'find a surveyor' function.
Make sure you fully understand what type of survey you want too 🙂
