I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but just want a second opinion..
The good lady keeps fish. When she does a water change can I use the water on the garden? It's high in nitrates (which seems to be what general purpose fertiliser is) so I can't see a problem.. Will everything die??!

I would but only at soil level not sprayed over the leaves or and fruits / vegetables .

Yes, unless her tank is marine! The tank water should be good for plants. As Cheesy says, keep it off the stuff you want to eat, no one likes their veg washed in fiss pish.
