6 mini chocolate rolls. I hope you enjoyed them.
That's 780 calories. Common number used for calories deficit for a 1lb loss is 3500.
So that'll make less than a 1/4lb difference to your result as long as you don't suddenly go 'ah **** it' and then have six more tomorrow.
It's no biggie. Get over it.
It's quite sad how I look forward to some chocolate biscuits on a Saturday.
Is that a euphemism?
I was disappointed, though not surprised at such little loss last week, but dropped 3-4lb since, mainly through reduced calorie intake, less bread/carbs and sugar. Not mentally low either, and I seem to be able to function perfectly normally.
Is that a euphemism?
Fell off the wagon yesterday celebrating the end of dry January, but back on it today.
Looks like I have gone from 2lb a week drop to 1lb. To be expected.
My shoulder surgery date has come through for the 28th of this month. So that's going to be tricky, as lots of sitting about coming up it seems ๐
Turbo trainer Jamie!
Bit of a wobble today. Basically I gave blood and then found myself faced with a table of biscuits and crisps. 6 custard creams and a bag of cheese and onion later and I think I'll be doing without any tea.
Had my first fish and chips of the year tonight. The thought and smell of it was epic, the eating was, well, greasy. ๐ I'm sure fish and chips used to be amazing!
Always the same for me. Love the smell and the idea - especially if I'm really hungry. But five mins after not being able to finish what I bought, I start to feel rather queasy ๐

I reckon 4+ weeks in is the hardest, all slows down a bit
Feb will be hard work!
I can only do a half portion of fish & chip these days, it's just grease overload otherwise.

I'm thinking that way. Be a bit annoying not being able to put hands on bars. Tempted to join a local gym and just use their gym bikes for a bit.
In the warm, and get to surreptitiously look at ladies bottoms.*
*This is the joke, please don't white knight me.
Friday weigh in, and another lb gone. Happy with that, slow and steady, especially as this week has been pretty normal food wise, so shows the loss is sustainable.

I've somehow lost 2.5lbs in the last week after losing 4 in the whole of Jan. I've reverted back to 'normal' eating in that I've had a bit of meat & bread after being 95% strict vegan & very carb conscious for a month - still pretty diety, though. Stomach has definitely shrunk!!
I suspect a significant change in eating habits (the stuff you eat, not quantity) can give your body a good kick to make it change how well it processes food - kinda like switching excersise regimes between long & steady to intense intervals.
1lb down this week.
Looking at my belly, I am thinking I might need to lower my end target by 5lbs, as looks like a bit to go still.
Will see how things look in a month or so and reassess.
for the few that have sent me weigh ins this week, it's not a weigh in week. Others, please don't overload my Inbox!!!
By all means weigh yourselves and post up here, but next official, on the s/sheet one is next week, 10th.

Heh...what a bunch of idiots!

Well I've lost another half kilo in a week despite it being a bit... pizza, beer, gin and burger-y
I've just been to Greggs and had.....
A tuna butty
A little part of me just died ๐

I appear to have found the pound I lost last week.
Stinking cold this week, no exercise, stupidly binge eating after shitty days at work.... The
Well as those of us from the more enlightened parts of the country know, it's Friday night so this is the law....
But not this year. I feel culturally adrift. A stranger in my own land ๐ฅ
I just had a lasagne with salad. Salad!
You're dead to me
Where did you get salad from anyway? I didn't think there was any left in the country? Have you got a stash?
That makes two of us. I am also dead to me.
Salad!
Let it out Jamie. You're amongst friends...
88.8kg this morning! This is a happy day as the scales now start with a 13...
Motivation for a good week and hopefully a loss by Friday..
(although will be drinking tonight and haven't touched a drop so far this year)
Saturday is an off-day. So watching Arsenal suck balls while having a hotdog.
On the strength of this performance you'll soon be mainlining cake!

The comfort eating was horrendous after Cesc scored.

First proper ride today since getting the all clear from the quacks/ cough going away.
28 miles on the CX bike, mostly off road, a bit of falling off on the muddy bits. Found it hard because I'm so out of shape but enjoyed it nevertheless. Me and the better half had a bit of a blow out on Friday and had a few drinks but we were straight back on it Saturday.
Going to try a run tomorrow to see if I can get in shape fit the Lincoln 10k
Good work! Something is better than nowt!
Just ran a half marathon to delete some chub!
I managed to get out both days this weekend, but made up for it by eating my body weight in...
Bombay Mix.
Damn, that is good stuff! Where has it been all my life?!?
Of course, now that I have been introduced to it, I shall have to try to forget it. ๐
wasn't a weigh in of course but I just fancied getting on the scales this am (not expecting a result as was out yesterday and it's the weekend anyway) - and was about 1.5lb down on the last official weigh in.
More notably - belts have gone from needing a notch out last year to being a notch out but a bit loose to a notch in but with a bit of a cinch to back to that notch without squeezing. Next step will be the same notch I was on before the depression - even if it does need a bit of a breath in for now ๐
It is working, isn't it!!
Seems to be
Just an ultra marathon not a sprint!
Definately slowed down, but my initial drop was so fast it had to!
I went for a long road ride at the weekend, still with no carbs. 90km with plenty of hills, and all i took on board was zero cal vitamin water. Still felt good at the end and punched out a pb up the last climb.
When I'm at home Ive found sticking to my 800kcal low carbs very simple. My job makes it harder (longhaul airline) due to night flights and timezone changes, but I've settled into a work routine of not sticking to 800, but staying low carb and not snacking. If I get bored hungry I have a cup of coffee!
14:10 down from 16:4 this morning. 14 is the goal (I was 13:7 during officer training 20 years ago when I was super fit, so never going to be a super light roadie)
Sounds similar to me, but trying to stick to 1500 cals and light on Carbs
It's all slowed down but dropped from15st 7 to 14st now in 5 weeks
I think the next couple of months should be slow & steady
Last two weeks have been a dietary car crash for me culminating in a weekend of excess due to it being my 8 year olds birthday on Saturday.....
Saturday - Trampolining (the kids, not me) then Maccy D's for lunch, Frankie & Benny's for dinner, Birthday cake, sweets,
Sunday - A trip to the cinema with a bucket of popcorn and a bucket of Coke, Pizza Hut, more birthday cake, more sweets.
I'm still having sugar hallucinations.
This weeks weigh-in will not go well.
Good job i'm focusing on the long term picture.
I have lost 2lbs this week.
Which, given I had planned for 1lb loss for 17 out of the next 20 weeks, gives me a small buffer I guess.
