Woke up in the middle of the night with a really 'scratchy' feeling throat.

Awful. Its depressing me. Anything I can take apart from manjuice? 😯

Have you tried sealing your gob up with gaffer tape? Or was that all part of the games shortly prior to the manjuice injection?

A whole bag of Fisherman's Friends will do the trick.

(Now, when I say a whole bag of Fisherman's Friends, I don't mean a Fisherman's friend's whole bag, I mean these)

Repeatedly gargling non-alcoholic mouthwash seems to do the trick for me, sore throat never lasts more than 2 days...

That expensive Manuka Honey is (according to allegedly proper scientific trials) supposed to work.

Failing that hot toddy's - they may be less clinically proven but after the 3rd or 4th you won't care 😀

I swear by Tyrozets. What is it - anaesthetic, analgesic and antiseptic all in one?

I also find that just simple glycerol works and you can have as much as you want as it doesn't contain any drugs.

I alternate gargling soluble asprin and strong mouthwash, take loads of ibuprofen and parcetamol, and spray that throat-ocaine http://www.ultrachloraseptic.co.uk/. Throat-ocaine is bloody brill. As is ibuprofen. Normally fine after a couple of days. What I hate is when they turn into head cold/fluishness..
