Great just dropped camera to add to current problems anyway - when the camera is powered, the camera's splash screen is displayed and everything works as normal but you can hear the motor "grinding" constantly as if it was stuck, everything else on the camera works fine, the LCD Touch Screen is fine and working.
So do I scrap or repair?

how long have you owned it
are you the original purchaser
could it be repaired under warranty?
could buy a secondhand one for iro £70
