How come my Bravia TV will recognise the folders containing video, but doesn't see the actual files, whereas my PS3 recognises and plays the vids. I want to stream to the tv in my lounge but can't get it to work. hich file type keeps the quality good and are there any free downloads I can use?

had a similar problem with files on memory stick, if you go into the help section you can find out what files it will run, can't remember exactly where but if nobody has come up with an answer by the morning i'll check it out and let you know
from memory it can play mp4 but there are others

Thats the odd thing. We can view via USB, but not over network. Music and Pics are fine
