fell off at rheola yesterday in deep mud and felt a sharp pain in my calf, much like an needle, didnt think much of it at the time but now have 3 small blisters where it was, any ideas what it might have been?

Mud piranha. Definitely. Probably fatal due to their toxic saliva.

na it was too wet for piranahs, they only bite when the water levels drop below 3ft
