As the title really.
I want to take some sections out of songs for a Christmas quiz, is there a simple programme to do it?
Thanks
Matt

iTunes...? You can choose the start and end point of songs.

+1 Audacity.

You can trim audio clips in some versions of Powerpoint, if you've got access to Office. Might be easier to run on the night this way.

On my phone I use Ringdroid to cut mp3s down to use for ringtones. Really easy to use, but perhaps a pc solution would be better if you need to do loads...

CDex - if you want to rip a section from a CD. I think it'll do mp3->mp3 too, but I haven't got it here to check.
Very simple, you just select the time of the section you want.
