It seems something is not quite right with Mourinho at utd
He has always been a confrontational manager but he now seems to have included his teams fans in this and some of the players.

Some at Chelsea thought he had a " breakdown" they might have a point as its hard to see why he attacks the fans

His treatment of Shaw has been deplorable as well.

Cheers for suggestions but , moyes aside, they all seem to have glass ceilinged at mid table [ at best] clubs

As an Arsenal fan you can imagine how I feel after Wednesday night 😉

Nah, fair play to them. They're playing really well at the minute and I can see them making the quarter/semi finals in the UCL.

As for Arsenal, well, I lost my enthusiasm for them about 6 years ago and nothing has changed. The odd splash of greatness amongst an ocean of mediocrity. I'm surprised we are 5th in the table. I wouldn't be surprised if we beat City on Sunday, Spurs next week and then loose to Burnley and Huddersfield. Don't think we'll make the Europa League finals either.

The problem with spurs beating real is that now with almost all English teams looking to win their groups, someone will probably end up meeting spurs when they have got their act together in the next round.

The wages Spurs pay are apparently quite a bit less than the other top 6. Obviously still amazing but they may have to pay more to keep the squad together.

it is less but they also got lucky with Kane coming through for free and what they paid for Alli

Shaw is a fat waster who has pretty much given up, as said by Moyes, lvg & mouhrino.

If he was any good utd would play him instead of blind (slow), rojo (a centre back), Damian (no attacking threat), young (a converted winger nearly at pensionable age ffs) or demi (not good enough). Even before his injury he was too lazy.

As for UK based managers... How is Hughes still around? Pardue gets 6 million repeat gigs (giggs is total turd admittedly) the shit that Silva got for not being English... If a manager is good enough he'll get the job.

Disagree - Shaw looked decent when he got a run of games towards the end of last year. Mourinho hates him which I think emenates from him choosing Utd over Chelsea when he was manager there. At the time Mourinho made comments insinuating he was greedy (for cash, not food!) and we know he likes to hold a grudge! He needs to move - swap for Danny Rose to reunite with Pochettino?

Shaw looked decent when his bromance with Memphis was in full swing (pre-leg break), since then he has looked dire even in reserve games.

the manager hates him and he knows he wont get a start no matter what he does sp it quite possible he is not trying very hard I think he got picked for England recently didnt he

Its more about Jose being an arse than shaw suddenly being shit- it not like Blind - adaptable but not fantastic- or Darmian - willing but out of position- have been exceptional

A West Ham mate of mine is beyond depressed about the whole idea, he said he'd rather have Fat Sam back

It always baffles me how crap English managers keep getting jobs

Another typical Moanriniho performance at the weekend. Insulting a fellow manager, creating animosity which must infect his players minds. It ain't gonna get any better!

I think I'd rather have Harry back. We might get relegated but at least there'd be some entertainment along the way.

I'm not surprised your West Ham mate is depressed. They were absolutely abysmal at the weekend. No wonder the ground was virtually empty by the final whistle.

I'm having to reappraise my opinion of Woy though. Palace were bloody unlucky not to come away with a point at Spurs yesterday. We didn't look too good yesterday, but at least we turned up to play. I thought we might have been 'treated' to another Jose bus-parking nil-nil borefest.

I think City are going to absolutely walk it, this season. They're just on a totally different level. They were cruising against Arsenal yesterday

They were the better team, but had a couple of lucky decisions go their way. Arsenal just couldn't unlock their defence which did play very well.

I was at the bridge yesterday arvo, Matthew Harding Lower. what a great game.

Thought the chels played really well compared to how we have been playing ever since Kante got injured. No surprise we looked so much better with him back.

We were unlucky not to score more but also glad that ManU didn't equalise at the end.

Disappointed at the fans around me who were coating off Matic.

Chant of the day was 'Mourinho's right, yer fans are sh**e'

What team would want to take on Luke Shaw a guy with known injury and weight issues? TBH he'll be lucky now if his career doesn't go into downward spiral very quickly.

The Whenger comments about Sterling diving were whiney, it just wasn't a dive, the only thing was if it was a foul or just a coming together, I would expect that to be given as a foul 80% of the time. So that one while maybe debatable isn't much of a debate apart from jumping on the blame Sterling bandwagon, which is getting a bit pathetic. The offside decision, fair enough linesman should really have done better.

To be fair the not off side was a lot closer than everyone is making out and Sterling also got a shuv when the ball came across the box and he was in the middle of the goal. So in reality City should have had two peno's.
The Arse fans and Wenger are quick to forget the generous decisions against City in last seasons FA cup. The sceptic may think the FA wanted a London cup final.
City's play is a breath of fresh air while Chelsea struggle with post champion blues and PEG's new Stoke bore the opposition into submission.

Bad result for Northern Ireland tonight.

Absolutely shocking penalty decision (plenty of footage on Twitter). Bad enough to lose the home leg but to a goal from a penalty given for that?

(I think most agree that Switzerland were the better side on the night but Jeez...)

Was never a penalty and we may have scraped a 0-0. However Switzerland deserve the points.

It really is anyone’s guess which Arsenal show up for any given game, this season. It’s bizarre. Ozil was outstanding today. I’ve seen him in other games this season where he’s been absolutely dire, and looks like he’d rather be anywhere else

They were brilliant today! Totally outplayed Spurs. I’m sticking a few quid on them losing to Burnley next weekend, though 🙂

You’d better check with Mrs Binners before you place that bet!

Good result today though...surprisingly good!

She ALWAYS bets on Burnley at home, fella.

She’s made a bloody killing off that bet, over the last couple of seasons!

Why do you reckon Arsenal are so inconsistent? It can be like watching two totally different sides from week to week?

Mind you, you could say the same about everyone else, bar City

God knows why Ozil is so inconsistent! I would say the it’s the first time that Our two best centre backs have played together for a long time and they give us the platform to play well. I would have brought Jack on for Chaka at 60mins.

And another one bites the dust. Tony Pulis has just been sacked.

Another club for Sean Dyche to be linked with then? 😆

That's been coming for a while...

West Ham seemed to have all of their old failings yesterday.

I can't see Moyes doing anything other than exactly replicating his experience at Sunderland. Its like deja vu already

Moyes mk1 wouldn't be a bad shout as a short-term appointment - get the defence organized etc. The trouble is that we've had Moyes mk2 for quite a long time now. I would've preferred to see the club appoint an up and coming manager from the championship.

Funny how Managers who have, in the past been pretty successful seeming to run out of steam. You can't think that Pulis is doing anything differently, so do the players just get lazy?

Normally a new manager means a win in his first match then back to the old ways. Moyes is cleverly bucking that trend.
I predict a win next week and then the longest unbeaten run ever in the premiership.

Looky what I just got! A Stanley Chow print of De Gea, ready to be framed. How cool is that?!!

I suspect, given the mixed look of pity and contempt I just got off Mrs Binners, that the only place I'll be able to put it up is in the shed 😀

man the CL is aff the scale these days, no that long ago we'd have fancied our chance of taking the odd result against the best, brutal!

Anyhow, that's the distaction done, 0-2 against anderlecht in a few weeks see's us in the europa, job done. fingers crossed! reckon I'll have chewed through those fingers by the end up though! 😆

Be interested to see how the english clubs do against PSG. Good luck! if any of you get them in the draw. Despite our ineptitude and them being immense going forward, i reckon better teams will get chances against them. aim for winning 4-3 or something though! 😆
