So apparently I don't help out enough in the house and spend too much time on zwift and ****ing about in the shed on my bike (according to my wife)
So I've offered to make some dinners for the family. I'm thinking easy slow cooker recipes if the stw hive can send me some I can return to the shed and finish building my cotic before my wife starts making a new patio feature in the garden.

just used mine yesterday
Pork shoulder steaks, apple juice, leeks, sage, dash of wine. seasoning.
Break up the steaks after cooking, add some cream. Serve on rice to soak up the juice.

Pulled Pork 👌
Takes 10 minutes to prepare but tastes absolutely gorgeous.

I don't add the bbq sauce and it's very tasty.

Just so you know, my empirical evidence is that doing a task like this the super time efficient way will not get you the brownie points you desire. She’s looking for effort not results, and you’ve picked the simplest task.

Poly has it. You won’t win the points that way... although pretty much anything in a sauce can go in to start, then start experimenting with slow cooked joints. I love it, nothing better than an early start, breakfast, cook dinner leave it in the slow cooker all day whilst an epically long ride is had. Return, shower and dinner is served. Gammon In coke is one of my easy favourites.

I’m not married though... probably helps👍🏻

^^^ 😀
Do:
vacuum the floor
Clean the kitchen especially the oven, grill and extractor fan oil ...
Clean the bathroom
Clean the windows
Then cook something with slow cooker

What’s the magic solution with slow cooker porrage? We just ended up with semi burnt biscuit in a milk-jelly soup.
What did we do wrong? Tips please.

Can you not just pick her up some flowers from the 24 hour garage next time you’re filling your car up?

Nothing says I love you like some garage forecourt flowers. You’ll be back in the shed in no time😃

In the meantime try Braised beef goulash with smoked pimenton. It’s bloody lovely!
