Got sky with variety and knowledge packs.

We only watch the knowledge channels and stuff that is available on freeview, which is lumped into the sky variety pack. If I get rid of the variety pack, I assume I can still get the freeview stuff through the sky dish/box?

Thanks 🙂

We've just done something similar but be careful, what you get is freesat which is a little different from freeview. For example, we no longer get Dave.

No Dave? 🙁

How about more4?

Its only a quid so I was thinking of just swapping to another pack but maybe I wont bother.

Don't confuse Freesat with Sky freesat - it comes from a different satellite [albeit in the same(ish) orbital slot]

Freesat channels here [you'll need a new receiver for these]

Sorry for the slight highjack, but now I've dropped down to Sky-Freeview and I don't want any PPV services, is there any reason to leave the phone line plugged into the sky box?

Or should I ask the question in a new thread?
