Anyone skied/snowboarded at raise in the Lake District? We're thinking of going for the day on Saturday.
Isn't it a hefty walk to get there?
Their website says you have to be a memeber to use the lift as well..
I cant get the webcam to work, but I didnt think the West had had much snow?
Yes, 5k walk in and membership isn't expensive.
Just wondered if anyone had actually been there. Conditions are likely to be so so, but then riding a bike at the moment's not too good either 🙂
I know back in the day when there was lots of snow there were lifts operated through out the Peak District and Yorkshire Dales, which may well have alot more snow currently than the Lakes.
Thinking about it, should have brought my skis and gone to Sheffield Ski Slope tonight!
